Generous spacing around the chess board enhances the game’s theatrical allure, while the use of the finest materials, hand-fitted veneer, and polished details echo the superior craftsmanship found in Rolls-Royce interiors.
The playing board is in an Obsidian Tulip and Blackwood veneer, arranged to create a diamond pattern when viewed from above. Around the playing surface, a longitudinal grain is used, while within the playing field, the veneer is angled at 45 degrees to create a subtle contrast. The exterior and piece holder can also be personalised using one of twelve Rolls-Royce leather colours.
