Johanna specialises in contemporary and twentieth-century furniture, as well as product design. She lectures widely and has taught at revered British institutions such as the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins. She also penned the essay Cars: Accelerating the Modern World, which investigated the future of automotive design. The piece supported an exhibition of the same name at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
