This year marked the 60th anniversary of the legendary Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Carmel, California. To celebrate the occasion, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars developed a bespoke Phantom Drophead Coupé at the company’s Goodwood manufacturing plant, UK. The car was unveiled at the event by Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös and Chief Designer Ian Cameron, and was sold within minutes.

A four-person picnic set finished in polished aluminum, veneer and leather is the latest commissioned feature to be brought to life by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in-house Bespoke design and engineering team. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has today announced successful sales results for 2009, with 1002 cars retailed during the year. This figure includes the first 150 Ghosts, delivered to customers in December. Demand for the Ghost has been exceptional and the latest Rolls-Royce has been met with universal acclaim from customers, the media and enthusiasts alike. Around 85 per cent of Ghost customers are new to the marque.
