It’s a contemporary take on the timeless romance of open top motoring.
The latest expression of Phantom Drophead Coupé demonstrates a
more relaxed and less formal side of Phantom. It displays a
sociable character and its convivial interior evokes the feeling of
being aboard an elegant motor yacht. It offers both driver and
passengers a dual experience - intimate and cocooning or embracing
the elements depending on whether the roof is raised or lowered.
Inspired by the J-class racing yachts of 1930s (known for their
performance and use of natural materials) the result is a car that
epitomises romantic, performance motoring.
"We wanted to create a car that is a shared experience,"
explains Charles Coldham, Chief Stylist Interior Design. "The
occupants are surrounded by the finest natural materials, evoking
the experience of being on board a yacht."
The new Adaptive LED Headlamps light up as soon as the engine is
started, giving Phantom a unique look that is instantly
recognisable by day or night. The light clusters have a glowing bar
of LED Daytime Running Lamps through the centre, with dipped and
high beam functions illuminating the top and bottom sections.
There are sixteen colours to choose from or we can mix any

You can choose from 12 different wheels, five designs with up to
three finishes, each with their own special character. All our
wheels feature our unique self-righting wheel centres that always
display the Rolls-Royce monogram the right way up. It's typical of
the attention we give to the smallest details that make our cars so
Phantom Drophead Coupé's optional brushed steel bonnet features
a hand-applied brushed finish, which gives the bonnet a soft sheen.
Accentuating the lines of the car it creates an unbroken flow of
bright steel that runs from the grille, around the A-frame
windscreen surround and along the waistline of the passenger
compartment and tonneau cover.
