Like its sleek, streamlined and boldly styled exterior, the Phantom Drophead Coupé’s interior is a triumph of visionary design, innovative use of materials and effortless style.
Interior Designers, Charles Coldham and Alan Sheppard were charged with the task of creating a sociable space of luxury and intimacy that also reflected the Phantom Drophead Coupé’s dynamic and informal character. They also had to retain Rolls-Royce’s enviable level of simplicity and elegance. It was a challenge they rose to magnificently.
Extensive use of metal, wood and leather, not to mention luxurious cashmere and wool creates an opulent atmosphere, but it’s the way in which the simple array of primary controls conceals the more complex secondary controls that also satisfies the eye. Ultimately it’s this exceptional quality, attention to detail, and of course, the facility to embrace or shelter from the elements as you wish that makes being in the Phantom Drophead Coupé such a uniquely pleasurable experience.
