Bespoke
Bespoke Collection - Silver
Created exclusively as part of the Bespoke Collection, the Phantom Silver is a limited-edition model that has a special resonance for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, celebrating the centenary of The Silver Ghost’s legendary record-breaking endurance run.
Between 21 June and 8 August 1907, a 40/50 hp Rolls-Royce - named ‘The Silver Ghost’ after its stunning silver exterior and almost eerily smooth and quiet operation - covered a distance of 14,371 miles non-stop, breaking the world record, which had previously stood at 7089 miles. It was this event that established Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ reputation for quality and engineering excellence, and no model could pay a more fitting tribute than the exquisite Phantom Silver.
Inspired by its legendary forebear, the Phantom Silver features unique Xirallic ‘Ghost Silver’ paintwork, complemented perfectly by a Spirit of Ecstasy cast in hallmarked solid silver. Its sumptuous cabin is upholstered in beautiful Roseleaf leather, while set into the Santos Palissander veneered fascia are instrument dials and an analogue clock with white faces and raised black numerals reminiscent of those in The Silver Ghost.
A handcrafted crystal glass set - two flutes and two tumblers, each bearing a silver band engraved with the 14,371-mile distance achieved by The Silver Ghost - is accompanied by a veneered storage cabinet mounted inside the Phantom Silver’s rear parcel shelf, a Bespoke milled aluminium drinks-holder and a dual-bottle cool box. Equally appealing is the veneered commemorative presentation key box, containing an enamelled silver Conway Stewart fountain pen and two key fobs, beautifully fashioned from hallmarked solid silver.
Thoughtfully detailed and meticulously executed, the Phantom Silver has an inherent beauty that marks it out as a Rolls-Royce motor car.
