It doesn't matter whether you're in the mood to take the wheel or to stretch out and relax when you're faced with the Ghost Extended Wheelbase. Its extra length (17cm or 6.7 inches) makes it the perfect passenger experience. But there is no compromise when it comes to driving either - our engineers have gone to great lengths to ensure it offers the same exceptional driving dynamics.

      In the rear passenger compartment, the additional length is immediately apparent. The extra legroom invites you to stretch out, while the abundance of extra space offers more room to work, entertain or just relax and appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship. It also opens up even more possibilities for personalisation, so you can create a car that is as unique as you are.

      The cashmere-blend roof lining adds to the sense of openness and space, enhanced by the Panorama sunroof on Ghost Extended Wheelbase. It's like being cocooned in your own convivial private sanctuary that leaves you relaxed and unruffled after the longest journey.

      The hand-stitched leatherwork takes over two weeks to complete, with nine hides required for each interior. Pre-shrunk and drum-dyed so the colour permeates right through, the soft, supple full-grain leather won't squeak or crack. Choose from a wide range of mono and contrast leather colour combinations.

      "I look for burrs and complex grains that add interest," says Dan Austin, Veneer Specialist.

      Each set of veneers comes from a single tree, creating a simple, seamless flow from facia to rear compartment. Select from classic burrs like Walnut or Elm or choose straight-grained Malabar or Dark Wenge for a more contemporary ambience. Each piece is hand-polished to create a deep flawless shine.
